Earlier this month, the top Premium Bonds prize of ÂŁ1 million was won for the first time since the investment limit was increased to ÂŁ50,000 in June 2015. The winner, from West Scotland, only the second ever top prize winner from that region, had invested the maximum amount, whilst a second investor from Surrey was also made a millionaire in the same month after investing ÂŁ23,950.
