We are delighted to introduce you to our newest member of the team, Beth Evans!
Originally from small village Llandegfan in North Wales, Beth grew up in Caernarfon until the age of 10 when she moved to Liverpool. Beth lived here until the age of 18 when she relocated to Chester to study Theology at University, whilst also working in an old-fashioned sweet shop.
After graduating with a masters, Beth soon discovered her passion for Financial Services whilst servicing legacy Pension policies at Phoenix Life.
Outside of work Beth’s main hobby is reading true crime and history books, and has a New Years resolution to read 52 books this year(!!) She also enjoys baking and enjoyed taking lessons from her Nain (Welsh for Grandma) over Facetime throughout lockdown.
Beth joined us in July as a Financial Administrator and has been working from our Lincoln office, spending time to learn the different aspects of her role.
“I’m really enjoying my new role at Serenity. I’ve enjoyed learning about the variety of products, as my background was mainly pensions. There has been a lot to learn about the products available, what each product is and why it might be useful for a client. I’ve also really enjoyed learning about the funds recommended to clients and how the advisers go about making their decisions on that.
At the moment I have been working on preparing documents ahead of client meetings and contacting external providers for information on client’s policies.”
“Talking about money and finances for a lot of people can be quite difficult and intimidating, but it’s important to do. It’s nice to work somewhere you know people are getting help and advice that will give them confidence in their financial situation. “
