We are very proud to share that earlier this month, the Serenity team took a trip to London to celebrate the graduations of Jordan, Ian and Jeremy.
Rather than wasting the additional time afforded by the lockdown years, all three committed to hour upon hour of additional studying to attain the much coveted Chartered Financial Planner award from the Chartered Institute and Personal Finance Society.
The three were delighted to be joined by fellow planners Tina and Clive at the Central Hall in Westminster – in the shadow of Big Ben, along with over 100 other graduates receiving the award.
Jordan has now attained Chartered and Certified Financial Planner status (Jordan being the youngest ever Serenity financial planner to do so) and Ian has attained Certified Financial Planner status. Whilst Jeremy was also awarded FPFS – Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
Chartered Financial Planner status has been attained by approximately just 5,000 planners in the UK, and demonstrates their professional commitment having passed around 14 exams in various aspects of financial planning – the estimated study time to complete the qualification is approximately 600 hours. It is viewed as the ‘Gold Standard’ of financial planning.
Following the ceremony, the team headed off to a nearby restaurant with for a well-deserved lunch, before dispersing to the far reaches of the UK.
Well done to you all!
