We’re delighted to announce that at the 2021 Money Marketing Awards, our Founder and Managing Director Tina Weeks was presented with the Outstanding Contribution to the Profession Award in recognition of her work in shaping the advice profession through her passion, dedication and inspiration to others.
Tina has been a massive advocate for the relational approach to financial planning which focuses on building deep and trusted relationships with clients.
In recent years, despite her own health challenges, and in line with her own life plan of being able to serve, influence and inspire as many people in the UK as possible, Tina launched a coaching program to train other financial planners to work this way. Her Know Thyself Coaching and Consulting business has not only helped many advisers in their own lives but also enabled them to better support their clients.
As a highly skilled financial planner, Tina demonstrates compassion and empathy in abundance, and can often be found very openly and generously sharing her knowledge with the wider profession. Recently, through her own real-life experiences, she has helped to put protection back on the advice agenda, encouraging advisers who do not specialise in this area to ensure they signpost clients to those who do.
Tina has remained at the forefront of and is instrumental in helping shape the financial advice profession. In her own very modest words Tina remarked “Who’d have thought I’d get an award for being lucky enough to do what I love”
